Islamabad: Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has announced that it will introduce evening shift in 51 city schools from the next academic session.
According to the Ministry of Education, this initiative is aimed at overcoming the challenges faced during the admission campaign because the number of students in many schools has increased and some basic classes have increased from 50 students per class to 100.
“We will improve the infrastructure in designated schools to ensure high quality education and a conducive learning environment, and provide additional credit for teachers to support evening shifts.”
The night shift will help reduce pressure on morning classes, promote better student-teacher interactions and improve the learning experience.
