Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the rate of inflation is gradually decreasing and all economic indicators show that the economy is improving.
In a press conference, Atta Tarar said that the country’s economic performance is improving under the current government. He said that recent years have been difficult as in Pakistan.
The federal minister said that Pakistan will one day become one of the top economies in the world. He said that developed countries recognize Pakistan’s development.
He said inflation has dropped to a record low and foreign exchange reserves are enough for two months of imports.
He said that giving IT skills to the youth is important because 68 percent of the residents are youth. He said youth labor is in demand in IT, minerals and other sectors.
Atta Tarar emphasized that the government is taking effective measures to provide resources for the youth. The federal minister said the government’s main focus is education.
He also pointed out that Chief Minister Shehbaz had provided laptops to students during his tenure as Chief Minister of Punjab. The Minister of Information highlighted the importance of the new Prime Minister’s visit to China.
It announced the signing of a framework agreement with a prominent Chinese technology company to provide IT training to 0.2 million children annually.
Atta Tarar said that contracts with leading firms in the world were also initiated. He announced that smart boards will be installed in schools in Islamabad and IT training will be conducted in schools.
