DUBAI: Dubai Mall welcomes a record 105 million visitors in 2023, up 19 percent from last year’s 88 million, according to the latest data released by the mall on Tuesday.
Figures also show that 20 million people visited the mall in the first two months of this year alone, and 2024 will be another record year.
“These figures demonstrate the impressive position of Dubai Mall and reflect Dubai’s leadership and strong economy. Our mall embodies the city’s vibrant spirit and commitment to excellence, making its leaders’ vision a reality. As an integral part of Dubai’s economic fabric, we play an important role in the success and innovation of our city,” he said.
The new figures also show that the mall has become a global attraction, attracting visitors from all over the world.
“These diverse nationalities not only reflect the mall’s global appeal but also reflect Dubai’s cosmopolitan culture,” added Alabbar.
Events and mall promotions in 2023 and early 2024 are the main drivers of foot traffic, as well as major festivals and international events. The mall’s digital footprint has grown significantly, with 1.3 million Instagram accounts today.
The mall’s average customer satisfaction is 4.6, reflecting positive feedback from thousands of customers.
