TAXILA: The Wah Saddar police on Thursday booked the staff of a drug treatment center for allegedly abusing a patient during treatment.
According to police sources, Tanwer Ahmed informed the police that his drug addict son-in-law Muhammad Yousuf had admitted himself to a private drug treatment center in Wah Model Town for treatment and rehabilitation on June 14.
On Thursday, the staff of the center took the body to the Wah General Hospital after the torture and cut the marks and ran away.
The body was later shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and a post-mortem revealed that the man had been shot with sticks and sticks.
The police have registered a case of murder under Sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against the staff and employees of the private drug treatment center and have started further investigation.
