Timergara: The newly appointed Medical Superintendent (MS) of District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Timergara, Dr. Bakht Zada Akhunzada, has stated that he is committed to transforming DHQ Timergara into a model hospital and will make every possible effort to provide the best healthcare facilities to patients.
He expressed these views while speaking in his office after assuming charge, where he met with doctors, paramedics, and various political and social figures who had come to congratulate him. He acknowledged the challenges facing Timergara Hospital and emphasized his strong determination to improve the casualty department, aiming to develop it on the pattern of MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières) so that patients can receive top-quality emergency care.
Dr. Bakht Zada further stated that efforts are underway to activate essential medical equipment, including the hospital’s CT scan, MRI, and incinerator, to ensure patients benefit from these facilities. He emphasized that doctors, paramedics, nurses, and other staff at DHQ Timergara will be held accountable for their duties, and strict action will be taken against those who neglect their responsibilities.After assuming charge, he conducted a surprise visit to different wards of the hospital late at night and found most doctors and medical staff present on duty. However, he warned that ensuring quality healthcare services in the hospital is his top priority, and he will take all necessary steps to maintain service standards. Members of the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Assembly have also assured their full support for the improvement of DHQ Timergara.
