Timergara: In light of provincial government directives, Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Muhammad Arif Khan, along with DHO Lower Dir Dr. Nisar Khan, Staff Officer Dr. Niaz Muhammad, and Dr. Noor Hameed (WHO), visited Team 2 Area 10 in Kandaro, Dandono, Tehsil Balambat, as part of the ongoing five-day polio campaign in Lower Dir. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the polio field staff to meet the set targets on time and to share the field program report promptly with the health department. During the polio monitoring, he also checked finger markings and door markings, as well as records of school children. The five-day polio eradication campaign in Lower Dir will continue from October 28 to November 1, during which 332,570 children will be given polio drops as well as Vitamin A drops.
