UPPER DIR: Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir, Naveed Akbar, has won the hearts of the underprivileged class by organizing a one day sports event for orphans for the first time with the collaboration of the District Sports Office in Dir sports Complex.
Deputy commissioner Naveed Akbar addressing the inaugural ceremony and talking to the media, he said that we have organized a sports event for the first time, including orphans, who are extremely poor and innocent in society, along with all other classes and players, thanks to the active role of District Sports Officer Siddiqullah.
Naveed Akbar said that I am very happy that today we have organized cricket, rope pulling, and running events for the entertainment of orphans, in which orphans from different areas were included so that they can also come out of the gloomy environment and be part of the happy moments in society.
He said that, God willing, we will also organize various sports for orphans in the future, just like other players.
Earlier, District Sports Officer Siddiqueullah said that on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar and DG Sports, we have organized a one-day competition of rope pulling, running, and cricket at the Sports Complex for the first time, so that these poor children can also be part of the happiness like other societies through sports.
At the end of the one-day sports event, DSO Siddiqueullah distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winning and runner-up teams of the orphan children.
