Islamabad: Ishaq Dar has formally assumed the role of the country’s 39th foreign minister.
He was received by Foreign Minister Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and other senior officials on his arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today.
The foreign minister was briefed by the foreign secretary and other secretaries on Pakistan’s foreign policy and priority areas.
