SHAKARGARH: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal accused his party colleague Daniyal Aziz of seeking to win the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket.
According to him, Daniyal Aziz applied for a PML-N ticket after wanting to receive a PTI ticket.
Speaking at the opening of the election hall in seat NA-75, Ahsan Iqbal claimed he persuaded the party to give Daniyal Aziz the ticket in 2013 despite the fact that the PML-N leadership was against doing so.
Iqbal claimed that despite being aware that PTI’s IMF program was the cause of the country’s widespread inflation, Aziz blamed him for it.
Daniyal Aziz, according to the former federal minister, held a press conference criticizing the PML-N.
