Raita especially cumin raita and mint sauce add to the taste of different recipes. Here are the ingredients and method to prepare cumin raita and mint sauce.
Method to Prepare Cumin Rait:
(i). Grind two spoons of white cumin seeds lightly on a griddle without oil
(ii). Add one spoon of salt and half spoon of freshly ground black pepper
(iii). Take one and a half cups of curd
(iv). Mix all the ingredients and make curd paste, add two spoons of water and the raita is ready
Mint Sauce (Green chutney):
(i). Take half a bunch of mint leaves
(ii). One bunch of coriander, cut the back stalks and wash them
(iii). Take one spoon of salt
(iii). Seven green chillies
(iv). Fifteen cloves of garlic
(v). One spoon of white cumin seeds
Put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind them.
Finally add the juice of one lemon. The delicious mint sauce (green chutney) is ready
If you add a little of the same chutney to curd without adding lemon juice, it will become a green raita of curd
