Islamabad: The OIC Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) is proud to announce the recipients of the prestigious COMSTECH Awards 2023. These biennial awards recognize outstanding contributions to scientific research and innovation within the OIC community. Selected through a rigorous peer review process, the 2023 awardees represent the pinnacle of scientific achievement across disciplines. Their dedication has significantly advanced scientific knowledge and fostered innovation. The COMSTECH Lifetime Achievement Award in Physics was jointly awarded to Yasaman Farzan (Iran) and Asghari Maqsood (Pakistan) and the second award in the same category in Mathematics was awarded to Saieed Akbari Feyzaabaadi (Iran). COMSTECH Young Researcher Award won by Ahmed Zeeshan (Pakistan), COMSTECH Best Scientific Book Award by Mohd Sapuan SALIT (Malaysia), COMSTECH Best Patent Award jointly won by Somayyeh KOOHI (Iran) and AMRY Youssef (Morocco), COMSTECH Best Research Paper Award in Biology, chemistry and physics were jointly awarded to Imen Khouni (Tunisia) and Shujaul Mulk Khan (Pakistan), Naseem Iqbal (Pakistan) and Ismail Ocsoy (Turkiye), Kushairi Mohd Salleh (Malaysia) and Ambreen Kalsoom (Pakistan) respectively, while K M Ariful Kabir ( Bangladesh) won the prize in mathematics in the same category. COMSTECH heartily congratulates all the winners for their remarkable achievements. Each recipient will receive a certificate signed by His Excellency the President of Pakistan (Chairman of COMSTECH), a plaque of honor and a monetary award. In addition to individual recognition, the COMSTECH Awards celebrate the collaborative spirit that drives scientific progress. The willingness of awardees to share their expertise will inspire future generations of researchers within the OIC and around the world
