Quetta: On the first day of the financial year 2024-25, the Balochistan government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has launched a public tender process with the aim of ensuring fairness, transparency and maximum value for public expenditure.
“Today, to fulfill another commitment to the community, a public tender is announced, inviting bids based on services.
The Prime Minister of Balochistan tweeted on the social media platform X: “About 240 tenders have been announced to find the best party to implement the approved development plan for the development of Baluchistan province.
Expressing his gratitude, he said that his government has fulfilled one of its promises to the people.

“This step is the first step towards good governance and effective service delivery mechanism,” said CM Bugti.
Expressing the government’s decision, he said that the improvement plans that have started in various areas of the province will be monitored daily and will be completed within the specified time.
Crediting the coalition government and state machinery, he said that for the first time in the history of Balochistan, 70 percent of the approved development plans are in the province’s PSDP 2024-25.
The planning and development department has been asked to complete the technical approval of the remaining 30 percent of the scheme by July 20 so that the implementation can be completed earlier.
July 2024 has been set for the first tender of the design, after which the council members and government technicians will report to the public for the regular implementation of the project and its completion on time.
An appropriate mechanism has been put in place to review the progress of development projects after every fifteen days. Members of Parliament and secretaries of relevant departments will execute the project to ensure the quality and completion of the project.
CM Bugti said that a delegation of senior ministers led by him proposed a total of 79 provincial level projects for the development of Balochistan.
Calling it a success of the government, the CM said that two provincial level schemes were approved by the Prime Minister after the 18th Amendment, which was the first time the federal government agreed to fund a provincial level scheme.
Appreciating Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s support to the deprived provinces, the CM said that the federal government has always extended full support to solve the problems faced by the provinces.
