In a bizarre turn of events in India, a bride’s strange demands on her wedding day led to a heated argument with the groom, eventually requiring police intervention. According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, the bride, during a customary wedding ritual in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, requested alcohol, hashish, and mutton (goat meat) from the groom. While the groom fulfilled her alcohol request, the situation escalated when the bride insisted on hashish and mutton, causing a major argument between the couple.
The dispute intensified to the point where both families were involved, and they ended up at the police station. During the investigation, the groom’s family accused the bride of being from a third gender. However, after police involvement, both families decided to resolve the issue privately without filing a formal report.
