PESHAWAR: BoK has signed an MoU with Ruba Digital (RD) to offer Shariah-compliant consumer financing to employees of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government. The formal document was signed by Khurram Shahzad Alam, COO of RD and Irfan Nisar, Divisional Head Consumer Finance of BoK’s Islamic Banking Group, with senior executives from both institutions in attendance including Muhammad Irfan Aslam, CFO, RD, Masood Khalid, Head Institutional Marketing, BoK, Arbab Ghayur Sikandar, Area Manager Peshawar, amongst others.

Under this agreement, BoK will extend Shariah-compliant consumer financing options to all permanent salaried employees of the KP government on easy monthly installments, enabling them to acquire electronic items from RD. Through this strategic alliance, BoK reaffirms its dedication to both Shariah-compliant financial solutions and leveraging digital platforms to empower customers with greater convenience and accessibility.
