The Indian blind cricket team has not yet received government approval to travel to Pakistan for the Blind T20 World Cup. The team is awaiting permission, as they are set to participate in the tournament in Pakistan.
While the Indian blind cricket team has already received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Sports, they are still awaiting clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs.
In this regard, the Secretary of the Indian Blind Cricket Association, Sheilendra Yadav, stated that they have been waiting for government clearance for two weeks and need a definitive “yes” or “no” from the authorities.
