MULTAN: Inflaming a passionate crowd in Multan on Wednesday, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari pledged to end the cycle of “hatred politics” and bring in a new era of wealth if elected in the approaching elections on February 8.
In an impassioned speech, he thanked the Multan populace for their unwavering support and emphasized the important role they had played in determining the fate of the country.
The PPP leader bemoaned Pakistan’s situation, pointing to problems including extreme poverty and skyrocketing inflation. He denounced the polarizing politics of senior politicians, describing it as a rivalry that sets brother against brother. He promised to turn Pakistan into a developed country and to terminate this period of politics motivated by animosity.
“Pakistan is in trouble right now,” Bhutto said. Both inflation and poverty have peaked. However, I would like to inform you, my siblings, that we have encountered difficulties together. We will share your victory as we have shared your tribulations.
Bilawal urged a group effort to use the power of the vote to effect positive change, reaffirming the PPP’s commitment to the people. He expressed his disapproval of aggressive techniques and emphasized that the main goal of his election campaign is to promote the rights and welfare of the populace.
The Bhutto scion promised to end the vicious cycle of hatred and create a prosperous Pakistan for all. He declared, “We will make Pakistan a developed Pakistan, a country where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their full potential,” and he would put an end to this politics of hatred.
Positioning the PPP as the only party that is genuinely people-focused was done by the former foreign minister. He promised to invest Rs 300 billion in Multan’s development as he laid out his ambitious ambitions. He made the following comparison: “They are giving Rs 1,500 billion daily to the elite, while we will spend 1,500 billion on our people.” This was made in contrast to the claimed excess of the current political class.
