RAHIM YAR KHAN: As the nation’s election campaign picks up steam, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari poked fun at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday.
The former foreign minister expressed gratitude for the party supporters’ fervor at the Liaquatpur rally, stating that Sharif was observed at the PML-N event in Hafizabad the day before and expressed concern that he could retreat back to his hideout after witnessing the gathering.
Bhutto asserted that no other party was taking notice of the problems that the population was facing while brandishing a copy of his party’s manifesto, which places a strong emphasis on economic advancement.
He outlined the main principles of the PPP manifesto, stating that 17 ministries would be eliminated to save the general people Rs. 300 billion. He promised to reroute the Rs. 1,500.
