In Pakistan every year millions of various types of plants are planted in the soil throughout the country but few of them survived due to lack of care. The slogan “Green and Clean Pakistan” accentuates the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment in Pakistan. One of the key ways to achieve this goal is by promoting better caring of plants. Plants play a vital role in maintaining a healthy environment, and proper care can help them thrive and contribute to a greener and cleaner Pakistan.
The watering of plants in proper time with the observation of environmental conditions and provision of proper sunlight is the basic need for the better caring of plants. In addition, a balanced fertilizer that meets the plant’s specific needs. Moreover, regular pruning of plants is necessary to maintain their shape, promote healthy growth, and encourage fruiting and flowering. Monitoring the plants regularly to check the signs of pests or diseases, and take action promptly to prevent infestations and infections. In result of proper caring, the plants develop in robust form of growth, then community can achieve and enjoy various benefits i.e., Firstly plants absorb pollutants and toxins from the air, improving air quality
and promoting a healthier environment. Secondly plant roots hold soil in place, preventing erosion and landslides, and maintaining the soil fertility. Thirdly, plants help to regulate the climate by providing shade, cooling the air through evapotranspiration, and blocking winds.
Fourthly plants can act as a natural sound barrier, reducing noise pollution and creating a more peaceful environment. The last one important benefit links with floristic diversity, only the plants can improve mental health, reduce stress, and boost human mood. Better caring of plants is essential to accomplish the slogan “Green and Clean Pakistan”. For promoting plant care, the community-led initiatives, and government initiatives should be taken very necessary.
The community of our homeland and public sector agencies/ departments can work together to develop a Pakistan in the shape of more green, clean, and sustainable for future generations.
Here various types of private and public initiatives are proposed/suggested for the proper caring of plants respectively i.e. establish/develop community grounds/parks, where residents of the area can come together to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers and they took
responsibility of their own plantation with keen interest.
Secondly organize community-led plantation drives to promote tree planting and greenery in urban and rural areas. Thirdly create
green spaces, such as parks and green belts, to provide residents with access to nature and promote environmental awareness. Fourthly provide environmental education and awareness programs to promote the importance of plant care and environmental conservation. Similarly,
the government launch a national greening program to promote tree planting and greenery across the country.
In addition, Develop and implement environmental policies that promote sustainable development, conservation, and environmental protection. Moreover, now it is need of the time, the government invest in green infrastructure, such as green roofs and walls, urban
forests, to promote environmental sustainability and reduce the urban heat landmass effect.
Last but not least, the public sector organizations across the country launch public awareness campaigns to promote the importance of plant care, environmental conservation, and sustainable development. Hopefully with the adoption of said submissions with full spirit our nation will achieve the true goal of slogan “green and clean Pakistan” PAKISTAN PAINDA BAD
