Islamabad: Minister of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vugar Mustafayev spoke on the phone with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaze Shaharif on Friday. During the meeting, both sides expressed their joint commitment to strengthen and diversify relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, a press release by the Prime Minister said. The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the development of their bilateral cooperation in all areas of common interest, especially in the areas of trade, energy, investment and defense. The Defense Industries Minister thanked the Prime Minister for the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation by Pakistan. Vugara Mustafayev visited Pakistan to co-chair the 8th meeting of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Joint Ministerial Commission on 23-24. January 2025 in Islamabad.
