SWAT: An attempt to abduct a 7th grade student while going to school was foiled by local people on Tuesday in the Borai area of Khwazakhela Tehsil in Swat district.
DSP Khawazakhela Pervaiz Khan while giving details to the media along with SHO Khawazakhela Hayat Khan, said that thirteen-year old Ehsanullah son of Usman Ali Khan resident Borai was going to a private school in Sambat (Matta Tehsil) from home on Tuesday morning when two armed men Najibullah son of Fazal Muhmmad and Akhtar son of Mahmood resideints of Borai ,already on the, controlled the student at the point of the weapon and subjected him to torture and tied his mouth in a sack and abducted him.
Meanwhile, two local youths, Zakirullah and Javed, showed courage and bravery on the child’s screams, foiled the attempt to abduct the child and took him out of the sack and shifted him to Tehsil Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Khwazakhela for immediate medical assistance. Where his life was saved by giving him timely medical aid.
The police registered the report of the victim Ehsanullah and arrested the accused and registered a case against him under sections 324-365A-37CPA-382-34.
“The accused are said to be the relatives of the victim and it has been learned that the accused were trying to kidnap the child for ransom.”
