LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has formally charged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Dr Minasmin Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhry and Mian Mehmoodur Rashid Shadman Police Station Shadman for arson and rioting.
The trial was conducted by ATC judge Manzar Ali Gul at Kot Lakhpat Jail and the charge was read out to the accused.
The court dismissed Shadman’s arson charges and called witnesses for the next hearing scheduled for December 19.
In addition, the court postponed the hearing of the burning of Askari temple and other incidents until December 23.
