Artificial Intelligence (AI) has reached another astonishing milestone. It might be hard for many to believe, but with this advanced technology, it is now possible to replicate a person’s personality with an astonishing 85% accuracy in just 2 hours.
Experts from Stanford University and Google have collaborated on a study to develop AI agents. To create these AI agents, researchers conducted two-hour interviews with 1,052 individuals and used these interviews to build a generative AI model designed to mimic human behavior.
To assess the accuracy of the generative AI models in replicating human behavior, the researchers had each individual complete two rounds of personality tests, then repeated the process two weeks later.
When these generative AI models were tested, it was revealed that the model was able to replicate human behavior with up to 85% accuracy.
Experts suggest that these AI models could be useful in various research scenarios, such as estimating the impact of public health policies, understanding consumer reactions to new product launches, and predicting human responses to major social events, which would otherwise be costly, difficult, and complex processes.
However, the experts also noted that while these AI models can accurately replicate human personalities in several domains, they may struggle in areas like economic decision-making and understanding social nuances.
