MULTAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has declared that the area from Dera Ismail Khan to Kohat has become a “no-go area”. He emphasized that the powers of the provincial government are lacking in the region. Talking to the media in Multan, Kundi expressed concern over the growing unrest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and criticized the provincial government for failing to bring peace. He noted that the KP Chief Minister was too busy with rallies to address these issues. Kundi alleged that although the KP government had received 600 billion for security, the KP police lacked the necessary resources. Kundi said he has invited all political leaders, including PTI leaders, in the province to meet and address these issues. He proposed drafting a case to be presented to the federal government, stressing that it should be based on reasoned arguments. He stressed that restoring peace and security in the province is a priority and that he plans to discuss the matter in detail with the Prime Minister. In addition, he acknowledged problems within the coalition governments, but expressed a commitment to addressing grievances. Kundi noted that Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto actively campaigned for the establishment of constitutional courts.
