Mardan: Assistant Commissioner Katlang Sahar Anwar conducted a thorough anti-encroachment operation in Katlang Bazar during which illegally kept goods were confiscated from several shopkeepers. Illegal barriers and hurdles in front of the shops were also removed during the operation, AC Sahar Anwar while talking to journalists of Press Club Katlang said that encroachment in the markets will not be tolerated in any case as it causes hurdles to the public. She further said that the aim of this initiative is to provide better facilities to the citizens and maintain the beauty of the market. She warned the shopkeepers to desist from future encroachments otherwise strict legal action would be taken.
