The Awami National Party (ANP) Lower Dir has announced a grand political gathering in Timergara on February 15 to mark the death anniversaries of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan. Provincial leaders will address the event.In this regard, a meeting of ANP was held at the residence of senior vice president and former provincial assembly candidate, Malik Sajjad Khan Yousafzai, in Malikabad. The meeting was attended by a large number of district officials, members of Malgari Wakeelan, students of the Pakhtun Students Federation, and party workers. The participants reviewed the preparations for the event and discussed organizational matters. It was decided to complete party organization at the tehsil, union council, and village council levels as soon as possible. Addressing the meeting, ANP’s Provincial General Secretary Hussain Shah Yousafzai, District President Haji Bahadur Khan, Senior Vice President and former candidate Malik Sajjad Khan Yousafzai, Election Chairman Haider Khan, Tehsil Adenzai President Latif Bacha, Bakht Baidar Jan, Malgari Wakeelan’s Shah Faisal Advocate, and others emphasized the significance of the upcoming gathering. They stated that ANP will pay tribute to Bacha Khan and Wali Khan with deep respect and hold a historic rally in Timergara, where provincial leaders will deliver speeches.The speakers highlighted that ANP has always been the true representative of Pakhtun rights, having made significant sacrifices for their cause. They criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, stating that it has completely failed. They further alleged that Chief Minister Amin Gandapur and former Chief Ministers Mahmood Khan and Pervez Khattak were imposed on the people by the establishment.
