SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the provincial government has made maximum efforts to ensure security during Ashura.
He told the Media on Tuesday that he was reviewing the security situation in the province and giving necessary instructions to the police, Rangers and other security agencies. Our law enforcement agencies are alert and working hard for peace and security in the province, he said.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the residence of PPP leader Nazeer Dhoki in Pir Jo Goth, Khairpur district and condoled his demise with the bereaved family.
The Chief Minister was also accompanied by MNA Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Senator Aslam Abro and Provincial Minister for Power Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and others.
He expressed his sincere condolences and offered Fateha and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss bravely. Former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MNA Nafeesa Shah, Syed Bachal Shah and others were also present on the occasion.
