UPPER DIR: The grandson of former royal family Nawab of Dir Sharif Khan, held a press conference here in Dir. Addressing to press conference Muhammad Alam Khan claimed that he is the rightful owner of a portion of the former Dir Hotel, which was previously owned by his grandfather. Muhammad Alam Khan, stated that he has inherited a quarter of the property and has won several court cases, including those in the high court and Supreme Court, to prove his ownership. He added that he has sold his share of the property to Malik Ayoub khan and Shahid Khan residents of Upper Dir.
Malik Ayub and Shahid Khan, who purchased the property from Muhammad Alam Khan , also spoke at the press conference. They stated that they had purchased the property legally and with the proper documentation (affidavit). They denied any allegations of wrongdoing and emphasized that they were simply investors who had purchased the property.
Muhammad Alam Khan emphasized that he and his family have always respected the legacy of the former Nawab of Dir and will continue to do so. He requested that he not be harassed or disturbed regarding his rightful ownership of the property.
