SWAT: Al-Khidmat Foundation announced to teach 13 different courses of Information Technology (IT) free of cost in Swat district under the “Bano Qabil Program ” and thousands of people will be skilled under this program. The registration for these three-month courses can be done till June 1, 2024. These views were expressed by President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Swat, Ziaullah Khan, along with Abdul Jalil Khan, Director of Ben Qabil Program Swat Zone One, while holding a press conference at Swat Press Club here on Wednesday.
Jamaat-e-Islami District Deputy Amir Akhtar Ali Khan, Yusaf Ali Khan, Barkat Ali Baba and other officials were also present on the occasion.
They said that 30 to 35 percent of the country’s 65 percent youth are currently unemployed and skilling these youths through modern courses is the main objective of the “Bano Qabil Program”( Become Able Program). For which 1 lakh 6 thousand people have been registered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 7 thousand people in Swat district so far and this registration process will continue till June 1.
“There is no age limit to participate in the courses of “Banuwab Program” and both men and women can register for it.”
They further said that all the candidates to participate in the courses will be tested and then the final candidates will be selected, added that Al-Khidmat Foundation is also going to establish “Aghosh Center” for 200 orphans in Swat and for this project, land has been purchased with a huge amount of Rs. 4 crore and 35 lakh.
“The orphan children who are living in their homes in Swat, among them 196 children are being provided money through accounts for educational expenses, pocket money and other needs,’ They said.
