Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and director Mudassar Aziz attended the trailer launch of their comic caper Khel Khel Mein at a multiplex in Mumbai. Akshay was in full form as he raised laughs like never before and played a fun game with the journalists. He also honestly talked about the debacle of his recent films.
A journalist began his question by asking Akshay, ‘Aap bahut interesting films kar rahe ho’. Akshay completed his sentence, ‘Haan lekin chal nahin rahi’. As expected, it brought the house down and everyone also respected him for being so open about it.
Akshay Kumar then stated, “I’ll narrate a short story, which was told to me by my father. Once upon a time, a farmer realized that his cow had disappeared. The villagers came up to him and consoled him for his loss. But he (was nonchalant) and said, ‘Nahin, theek hai’. The next day, the cow returned that too with 3-4 more cows. The villagers again met him, this time to congratulate him. The farmer yet again replied, ‘Theek hai’. Some days later, his son fell down from a cow and injured his leg. This time, the villagers told him that they felt bad about his son’s injury. The farmer, in his style, said ‘Theek hai’. The next day, the king ordered all the young boys to fight in the war. But his son was saved from it as he was hurt. The villagers now said that he was very lucky. And yet again, the farmer simply says, ‘Theek hai’!”
