ISLAMABAD: Ahsan Bakhtawari has resigned from the ICCI presidency. Yesterday there was a wonderful ceremony in honor of the former president as he left the meeting hall. The business community paid tribute to his two years of service and showered him with flower petals as he was escorted to his office in the Blue Area for a rally. Addressing a large gathering of the business community, the former ICCI President said, “As the President of the Islamabad Chamber, my entire team worked tirelessly in the service of the business community. and transformed it into a truly representative institution of the business world, and removed bureaucratic styles.’ He added, “During these two years, we have wholeheartedly served the business community and worked to solve their problems. Our aim now is to serve the city. Our mission is to achieve a clean and green Islamabad and youth and women empowerment initiatives. my priorities, we will work to ensure citizens’ access to clean water.” Speaking at the event, United Business Group Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari said, “Through the Founder Panel platform, we have served the chamber. The unity of the business community is the key to its success. Islamabad is our city and the identity of Pakistan,” he added. we must work together to develop it.” ICCI Vice President Nasir Chaudhry lauded former President Ahsan Bakhtawari and described his services to the business community as invaluable. Blue Area Traders Association Group Leader Yusuf Rajpoot, Senior Members Babar Chaudhry, Talagang Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Malik Shabbir, Ms. Neena, Ms. Nageena Khalil and Fatima Hassan also appreciated the contributions of Ahsan Bakhtawari and expressed their gratitude for the initiatives he has taken for the business community .
