Advisor Health Ihtesham Ali has taken serious notice of outdated vehicles and unusable equipment within the Health Department. He has directed all relevant formations under the Health Department, including the Directorate General of Health, Provincial Health Services Academy and its subsidiary institutions, all DHOs, Medical Superintendents, Program Managers, Directors, Health Foundation, Health Care Commission, Regional Blood Centers, and other affiliated bodies to provide detailed reports on non-functional vehicles.
Additionally, all institutions have been asked to submit details of unusable medical equipment and other obsolete items. Expressing strong displeasure over the deterioration of equipment left under the open sky, the Health Advisor has instructed all institutions to submit complete reports within two weeks.
Furthermore, details of action and condemnation committees have also been sought. All outdated and unusable items will be auctioned in a timely manner in accordance with the law and on merit.
