Taxila: Director General Agency for Barani Areas Development (ABAD), Rawalpindi, Sheri Naz, visited the Mini Dam constructed by Malik Zahoor in Odraang Hazro, Attock. Accompanying her were Project Manager Saima Ghafoor, SDO Hasnain Tariq, SDO Shaukat Hayat, Director Land Conservation Department Attock Muhammad Abid, and a large number of officers and farmers.
During her visit, Director General Sheri Naz inspected the Mini Dam in detail. While speaking to the media, she stated that with the assistance of the Agency for Barani Areas Development (ABAD), fish farming and vegetable cultivation have increased significantly. The Punjab government’s Planning and Development Board has also contributed to the improvement of agriculture and farmers’ livelihoods.
Farmers appreciated the efforts of the ABAD, noting that the completion of these projects has positively impacted farmers’ lives in rain-fed areas. Malik Zahoor and Malik Noshirwan thanked Director General Sheri Naz, her team, and the farmers.
