Islamabad: Pakistan National Council for the Arts (PNCA) and Sake for Sake organized an art exhibition titled ‘Respect for the People of Pakistan’ by renowned artist and social activist Jimmy Engineer.
Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadyk was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadyk said that Jimmy is a great artist and he respects his art. He always worked for Pakistan and made the name of Pakistan clear. Jimmy who participated in the event, I am a Pakistani, I want to say that the purpose of my work is to serve Pakistan, I want to tell the world through my work that I am a Pakistani. , peaceful people.
On the show, Jamal Shah said that Jimmy is a great artist, he knows art very well, and he sees art in his work. Jimmy the Engineer is an internationally renowned artist and social activist. His paintings have been exhibited widely in Pakistan and abroad. sixty out of seventy countries have works of art. His paintings are in various private collections in Italy, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Russia, China, Germany and the United States.
On June 5, Dr. Rahat Naveed and Amna I Pataudi displayed 100 of Jimmy’s paintings displayed at the National Art Gallery to the delight of the audience.

His work is diverse
landscapes, seashores, culture, abstract, a series of color philosophy, a series of poverty and historical images of the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan, images of various aspects of social injustice. He painted Javednama in his philosophical series.
The architectural series was completed in 13 years. He took 90 pictures, of which 35-40 are on display.
The historical series based on the 1947 partition of India began filming in the 1970s.
It was not easy to choose from his work, but the curator managed to capture some to give the audience a taste of his talent.
The most interesting fact about Jimmy’s dedication to his cause is that he has donated 700,000 canvas prints to charities around the world.
The exhibition will be open until June 14. The audience will have the opportunity to meet the artist and be inspired by his passion and dedication.
