Chakwal: A man shot dead while sleeping. The incident occurred couple of days before in Khandoa, the area in the jurisdiction of Kalar Kahar Police Station.
The slain Asad Mehmood’s family was living along with his other three brothers under joint family system.
According to the FIR (First Information Report) registered in Kalar Kahar Police Station of District Chakwal, the widow of the deceased told her brother-in-law the next morning of the incident.
“My husband is lying dead in the bed having bleeding from his head.” Widow told her brother-in-law mentioned in FIR.
The plaintiff’s case Asif Mehmood (the brother of the deceased) told the police official that “when we entered into the deceased room, he was found dead, lying in the bed with gunfire on his head.”
“We are investigating the matter, and the culprits involved in the murder will be arrested soon.” The police official told the correspondent.
