In the U.S. state of Connecticut, a black bear pulled off a unique and amusing heist at a home, stealing Halloween candies and pumpkins that had been left out for children.
On Halloween, in addition to helping itself to the bowl of candies placed on the porch for the kids, the bear also made off with a pumpkin.
The homeowner, Crystal Cook, shared footage from a security camera showing the bear grabbing the bowl of candies. She had placed the bowl there for the children in the neighborhood to enjoy as they passed by.
At the time, Crystal was inside her home enjoying some juice when the clever thief struck. Not only did the bear swipe the candy, but it also ate some juice bottles that had been left out for delivery drivers, and on its way out, it grabbed a pumpkin as well.
Meanwhile, in North Carolina, another homeowner’s security camera caught footage of a group of bear thieves at the start of Halloween. The video showed three bears eating pumpkins on the porch before fleeing.
