Renowned political and social figure Mian Muhammad Jamil Khan has stated that the blessed month of Ramadan is a source of divine mercy, blessings, and forgiveness. During this sacred period, Allah bestows countless blessings upon His believers. It was in this holy month that the Quran was revealed, guiding humanity toward righteousness.
He emphasized that this is a time to seek nearness to Allah by embracing the sanctities of Ramadan. He urged the affluent and capable individuals to consider the needs of underprivileged families in their surroundings and fulfill their necessities in a dignified manner.
In his statement, Mian Muhammad Jamil Khan expressed that those who are granted the opportunity to observe fasting and engage in worship during this sacred month are indeed fortunate. He highlighted that in Ramadan, Allah elevates the reward of voluntary acts to the level of obligatory ones, while the reward for obligatory acts is multiplied at least seventyfold. During this blessed time, the gates of Paradise are opened for the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the doors of Hell are closed, and rebellious devils are chained. He further quoted the divine proclamation regarding fasting, stating, “Fasting is exclusively for Me.”
