Under the auspices of Dawat-e-Islami, a prestigious ceremony was held at Milan Wedding Hall to honor 157 students with the traditional Dastarbandi (Turban Tying). The distinguished guest of the event was Al-Haj Yafoor Attari. The ceremony witnessed a large gathering of students, their parents, and relatives, reflecting a deep sense of religious and communal spirit.
During the event, 157 students from 18 madrasas were honored with Dastarbandi, among whom 52 students successfully memorized the Holy Quran, while 105 completed their Quranic recitation (Nazra). Addressing the attendees, the esteemed guest, Yafoor Raza Attari, remarked that the parents of these children are truly fortunate, as their offspring have been blessed with the honor of memorizing the Holy Quran. He emphasized that while people strive for worldly achievements, serving the religion is a noble cause, and Dawat-e-Islami continues to expand its religious services worldwide.
Highlighting Dawat-e-Islami’s global reach, he shared that the organization operates 152 madrasas in Bangladesh, 105 in the UK, 43 in South Africa, 31 in Mozambique, 25 in Spain, 20 in Italy, 10 in Hong Kong, 10 in Indonesia, 8 in Sri Lanka, 10 in Kenya, 7 in Canada, and numerous others across the world.
He extended heartfelt congratulations to the students who completed Hifz and Nazra, as well as their parents, acknowledging their dedication and perseverance. He further expressed optimism that by 2027, hundreds more students will have completed their Quranic education. Despite the harsh winter conditions, the overwhelming participation of students and their families brought immense joy and satisfaction to all involved.
Prominent figures including Hazara Division’s Nigran (Coordinator) Muhammad Ashfaq Attari, District Nigran Muhammad Safdar Attari, and Provincial Media Representative Muattar Ali also conveyed their congratulations to the students and their families. The event concluded with a special meal arranged for the parents and relatives in attendance.
