Islamabad: The Housing & Works Department of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) organized a ceremony at OPF Valley Zone-V, Islamabad, to hand over possession of fully constructed country homes to their respective allottees. OPF continues its mission to facilitate overseas Pakistanis by providing them with secure housing and addressing their concerns related to infrastructure and community development. The organization remains committed to the well-being of overseas Pakistanis, ensuring that their investments in Pakistan lead to a better quality of life. The event was graced by Chairman OPF Board of Governors, Mr. Syed Qamar Raza, as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, allottees were formally handed over keys and possession letters for their homes. Managing Director OPF, Mr. Afzal Bhatti, congratulated the allottees on achieving homeownership and urged those with outstanding dues to clear them to facilitate the timely completion of the remaining houses. He assured the allottees that OPF is actively working to resolve critical issues, including the development of the approach road in coordination with IBECHS and addressing the 407-kanal litigation area to ensure smooth progress. He further emphasized that OPF is working 24/7 to serve overseas Pakistanis and remains committed to their best interests.
Chairman Board of Governors OPF, Mr. Syed Qamar Raza, while addressing the gathering, extended his gratitude to overseas Pakistanis and the allottees. He reaffirmed OPF’s commitment to resolving their issues on a priority basis, including the construction of a mosque within the housing scheme. He assured that OPF stands as a dedicated servant of overseas Pakistanis, always ready to assist them. He also emphasized that his office remains open for all allottees, and they are welcome to visit without any prior appointment to share their concerns or suggestions.
The event concluded with the formal distribution of keys and possession letters, followed by refreshments for the attendees. The representative of the allottees thanked OPF’s leadership for taking proactive steps to resolve long-standing issues, making the dream of homeownership a reality for many overseas Pakistanis.
