SWAT: Regional Police Officer ( RPO) Malakand Sher Akbar Khan held a police darbar at Javed Iqbal Shaheed Police Lines Kabal (Swat) to ask to the legitimate requests of the police officers and personnels of Malakand Division and resolve the problems faced by them.
Upon reaching Police Lines Kabal, RPO Malakand was warmly welcomed by DPO Swat Nasir Mahmood and other police officers and a well-dressed police contingent saluted him.
RPO Malakand Sher Akbar also attended the martyrs’ memorial and laid a bouquet of flowers and prayed for the high ranks of the police martyrs.
DPO Swat Nasir Mahmood, DPO Shangla Muhammad Imran, DPO Buner Masood Khan and DPO Lower Dir Saleem Abbas Kulachi, along with other police officers, youths and lady police personnel, attended the darbar in large numbers.
Police officers and personnel from different districts of Malakand Division presented their issues related to posting and transfer, promotion, police welfare, medical bills, promotion courses and other issues.
RPO Malakand resolved the solvable issues on the spot while assuring that steps would be taken to resolve other complex issues as soon as possible.
Regional Police Officer Malakand Sher Akbar said that the police of Malakand Division have fought bravely against terrorist elements in the last 20 years under extremely adverse circumstances. Due to which hundreds of brave police officers and jawans of Malakand Range have sacrificed their lives and many have become Ghazis after getting injured.
He said that due to the immense sacrifices of the police of Malakand Division, the people of Malakand Division are breathing a sigh of relief and living in a peaceful environment.
He said that the Malakand Division Police is very popular throughout the province due to its sincere manner of performing duties and treating tourists visiting tourist areas with a smile, which is a source of pride for us.
He said that police personnel should submit applications to their DPO offices to get benefits from the police department for medical bills, scholarships for their children’s education and up to Rs. 100,000 for their daughters’ marriage.
He further said that solving the legitimate problems of police officers and youth is among my top priorities and the youth should come to my office without hesitation and tell me their problems, which will be solved on a priority basis.
“The purpose of holding the darbar was to listen carefully to the problems of police officers and youth of Malakand Division and solve them,” RPO said.
Finally, prayers were offered for the integrity and survival of the country and the darbar held with slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Paindabad came to an end.
