It has been revealed that fake vaccine certificates were being issued to individuals traveling for Umrah in Lahore.
According to the FIA spokesperson, Dr. Shehzad Naseem, Nursing Assistant Akram, and Junior Clerk Shiraz, along with others stationed at the Federal Health Center on Birdwood Road, demanded PKR 20,000 from a citizen traveling for Umrah in exchange for a fake vaccine certificate.
FIA officials stated that six suspects, including a doctor from the Federal Health Center, have been arrested, and an FIR has been registered.
Authorities confirmed that the vaccination center was issuing certificates without administering the required meningitis vaccine.
