The Sindh government has declared a public holiday across the province on February 5.
According to media reports, the Sindh government announced the holiday in observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The Sindh Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department (SGA&CD) issued a notification on Friday regarding the holiday.
As per the notification, all government and semi-government offices in Sindh will remain closed on Wednesday, February 5, to express solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
Earlier, the federal government had announced 17 public holidays for 2025, including February 5. Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed on Wednesday, February 5, as a public holiday to show support for the Kashmiri people enduring hardships under Indian occupation.
