The National Database and Registration Office (Nadra) announced the issue of unique lifelong computer identification cards (CNIC) for persons with disabilities and authorities donors. These cards will contain a cart symbol that will facilitate identification and access to services. According to Nadra spokesman, the Pakistani government approved changes in the national rules of identity of 2002. Within these changes, Nadra will issue a special identification card for individuals with disabilities and those who donated the authorities to increase their comfort and recognition. New identification cards for people with disabilities will be lifelong cards that will contain a wheelchair logo. They will be available to Pakistani citizens living in the country and citizens of stay abroad. In addition, the symbol of the wheelchair will also carry identification cards for juveniles (forms B) for special children. Registration for the relevant federal or provincial authorities will be obliged to obtain these cards for people with disabilities. In addition, the authorities will receive a special lifelong card with the symbol of the wheelchair and the donor if they are registered with the relevant authorities of the donor registration. Nadra confirmed that the announcement of these changes will be published in the upcoming Pakistani daily, after which the changes will be officially enforced. Previously, Nadra closes its website and replaces them with mobile applications for all services, due to fraud and problems with difficulty facing citizens, especially overseas Pakistan. The new application will provide services such as National Identification Cards, Nicop, Poc, B Forms and more. The page will be deactivated from 17 January. In addition, Nadra plans to open three new regional centers in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gwadar and Gilgit-Baltistan to improve services in remote areas. The government is also working on the establishment of the Nadra offices in 19 remaining throughout Pakistan. Some police officials were reports of misuse of the online verification system of the Nadra, which allegedly provided sensitive data to criminals and fraudsters. In response, the Nadra implemented 24 -hour sections for processing passports in large cities such as Karachi and Islamabad.
