SWAT: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Region Sher Akbar Khan made a surprise visit to the Chuprial police station and the police post Gat in Matta Tehsil on Thursday to review the security situation in view of the current situation and made a detailed review of the complete security arrangements in the area as well as the posts set up on rooftops and other boundary walls.
RPO Sher Akbar strongly urged the on-duty police personnel to utilize all resources to make the security of government installations fully proof in the context of the current situation and to remain alert at all times to ensure their safety.
RPO Malakand directed the police officers to intensify intelligence-based operations to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the public in the area.
“Public order and peace should be maintained by bringing those involved in theft and other serious crimes to justice, all legitimate problems of the visitors coming to the police station and post should be resolved in a timely manner, and all padding cases should be investigated as soon as possible,” he said.
RPO Malakand Sher Akbar also visited the under-construction Police Line Upper Swat Murade and reviewed the construction work in detail. On this occasion DSP Headquarters Upper Swat Zerab Gul Khan gave him a detailed briefing regarding the construction work.
RPO Malakand expressed satisfaction with the quality of the construction work of Police Line Muraday ( Matta) and directed to complete it as soon as possible.
