Due to her dark complexion, model and actress Sunita Marshal revealed that it benefited her in modeling, but she faced challenges in television dramas.
During a recent appearance on a morning show, Sunita Marshal shared that her complexion never caused issues in modeling and was well-liked by people, but the real challenges were in TV dramas.
She pointed out that in dramas, there were issues with framing. If she was in the same frame as a much fairer actor or actress, the cameraman faced difficulties in setting up the light.
Sunita explained that the issue arose with some cameramen, not all, and balancing the lighting was a challenge. However, in modeling, she always benefited from her complexion.
She mentioned that she had even done photo shoots where her complexion was made darker than it actually is.
Explaining this, Sunita said, “Some people prefer darker complexions, and certain colors, like yellow, look better on darker skin tones.”
