Deputy Commissioner of Dir Lower, Muhammad Arif Khan, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Gohar Ali, visited the profiling center for non-custom-paid (NCP) vehicles in Balambat. Excise Inspector Wakeel Khan briefed them about the ongoing NCP vehicle profiling process.In the first phase, the profiling of 12,000 NCP vehicles in Dir Lower has been completed. In the second phase, staff has been deployed in all four profiling centers in Dir Lower, and the profiling process is currently underway in Munda, Chakdara, and Balambat. Profiling in the Lal Qila subdivision is scheduled to begin next Saturday and Sunday.The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the profiling activities at the Balambat center, checked staff attendance, and examined all records on-site. He instructed staff to fully cooperate with vehicle owners visiting for profiling and to ensure that all necessary formalities and legal requirements are fulfilled before completing the profiling of vehicles.
Staff at all profiling centers in Dir Lower have been instructed to remain present until late to expedite the completion of the process. The Deputy Commissioner also handed over profiling documents and number plates to a vehicle owner present at the center.Representatives of the Dir Lower Bargain Association, including Matiullah, Jehan Alam, and Mirajuddin, assured full cooperation with the administration. The profiling of NCP vehicles will help prevent vehicle theft and crimes, enabling citizens to purchase profiled vehicles without any fear or risk.
