In Lahore, electricity theft was uncovered at the beauty parlour of renowned singer Jawad Ahmad’s wife. During the operation, Jawad Ahmad allegedly assaulted LESCO employees and even snatched the meter. Authorities have submitted a request for filing a case.
The electricity theft was detected in the Airline Subdivision of Lahore. According to LESCO officials, the theft was taking place at the beauty parlour owned by Jawad Ahmad’s wife.
During the raid, Jawad Ahmad arrived at the scene in his car and physically assaulted meter readers Asghar and Shahid, even taking the meter.
According to LESCO’s report, the meter was found to be tampered with, and a complaint regarding the assault on employees and electricity theft has been filed at Nawab Town Police Station. LESCO staff has reported the tampered meter to higher authorities.
