American billionaire Elon Musk has shown interest in acquiring the popular social media app TikTok after purchasing Twitter. According to Bloomberg’s report, lifting the ban on TikTok in the U.S. is the top priority of its Chinese parent company, ByteDance. If forced to sell TikTok, ByteDance is considering selling its American shares of the platform to Elon Musk. Musk had previously bought Twitter and rebranded it as X. Before the ban, U.S. President Donald Trump had requested more time from the court to reach a potential deal.
