Afghanistan’s fast bowler, Naveen-ul-Haq, has announced that he will not be participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) this year.
Naveen expressed his gratitude to fans, saying, “My last season with Peshawar Zalmi was great. Unfortunately, I won’t be playing in PSL this year but look forward to joining next year. Thank you for your love and support.” He shared this update through an Instagram story.
It is worth noting that PSL management recently included Naveen-ul-Haq in the platinum category for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, PSL management is actively reaching out to high-profile international players for the 10th season. However, Australian cricketer Steve Smith has also declined to participate.
According to sources, PSL management made significant efforts to convince Smith, but the Australian batsman cited personal reasons for opting out of the tournament.
