Shakeela Qureshi is a renowned Pakistani TV and film actress of the 1980s and 1990s. She performed in many films but her notable films are Mr. 420 (1992) and Mr. Charlie (1993). Nigar Award for Best TV Actress was awarded to her in 1989. She opted for films in 1983, and her first film was “Deewangi”, directed by Zafar Shabab which was a Golden Jubilee superhit at the box office. She received the Nigar Award for Best TV Actress for her role as Shamshad in the PTV drama Pyaas in 1989.
Fond of acting since childhood, Shakeela moved to Lahore and from there she made her debut in PTV dramas. Shakeela worked in PTV dramas in the 1980s.

Later, she paired with comedian Omar Sharif in the films Mr. 420 (1992), Mr. Charlie (1993), Miss Fitna (1993) and Baaghi Shahzade (1995). She then started working in dramas again but after some time she retired in 2010.
Shakeela got married with comedian Omar Sharif in 1995 but was divorced shortly.
