Renowned for his batting style and all-rounder abilities, Wasim Hassan Raja was a legend Pakistani cricketer. He was left-handed batsman and bowled right-arm leg-spin.

Best performance of Raja was witnessed in the 1976–77 West Indies series, during which he scored 517 runs and took seven wickets. His performance of hitting 14 sixes was a world record at the time.
